This year thanks to Pinterest not only did we find our Valentine's Day idea's we were also able to download the labels from the Pinterest sources!
Joshua chose the "I dig you" shovels and M&M's since he loves M&M's.
I found the shovels on e-bay from a made in the USA source that are all BPA free and were only $1 a piece with free shipping! M&M's were on sale at A & P for $3 a bag and we used 3 bags.
The "I dig you" idea was found on Pinterest and linked to the Fry Family Blog where she graciously offered a free PDF for the tags! Thank you! Can you believe that I had the exact bags leftover from last year!
Jacob is more into non chocolate candies so he chose these cuties. I got the Ring Pops in a box of 22 in Walgreens for $6 and change and the conversation heart pop-ups in Walmart were 6 for .99!
Jacob's Pop Quiz idea was also found on Pinterest and it linked us to the Over the big Moon blog with another fabulous free PDF!
Both boys helped assemble them, signed their names, and addressed the back side of the labels.
At work I am on a social committee and for Valentines day I ordered these adorable cupcake boxes from Oriental Trading for $3.99 a dozen and then ordered homemade like cupcakes from the Rye Country Store $1.50 each (they are delish).
How cute are these? The message reads "We hope your Valentines Day is Sweet!"
This morning I made the boys some heart pancakes and sent them off to school in their home made valentine shirts (pic to come later!)
Happy Valentine's Day!
