Wordless Wednesday...

On Saturday we went to visit Uncle Jim in the City.
Despite the heat we took the boys to Central Park Zoo and one of the playgrounds.
Josh was pretty upset about the heat until we let him get wet at the playground.
Jacob in the Tisch Children's Zoo area skipping across lily pads.
A cool spiderweb net that Josh had to be rescued from.
Jacob in a giant turtle egg shell.
Josh finally got to the playground and cheered up once he got wet.

Thursday - Clean teeth and fun at the town pool...

Another hot day and the boys had their dentist appointments today so I suggested that Brett bring them to the town pool later in the afternoon to let off some steam.

Joshua's first dentist visit:
Jacob is an old pro now!
The interactive spray area at the town pool:
I am happy at work knowing that they are having so much fun with daddy!
Of course I wish I could be there too.

The boys on an summer day adventure with their dad. A picnic near the river in Cold Spring.
(This is what I miss while I'm working!)

Rate My Space...

After all of the compliments I received from my bathroom renovation I decided to put some pictures up on HGTV's Rate My Space.

Take a minute to look at some of the before and after shots and "Rate My Space".

Wordless Wednesday...

Part of the fun of vacations is staying in a hotel.
The boys immediately started jumping from bed to bed when we entered our room at the Clarion Inn last Thursday. (Josh is midair!)

Our trip to Lancaster, PA.

Dutch Wonderland was perfect for the boys!
They love rides and they went on almost every ride at least once.

Here are some of my favorite shots of the boys:

Josh LOVES his vehicles.

Jacob was nervous because he heard thunder in the distance, luckily we never got any rain while we were at the park!

The boys were so silly on this ride, Josh kept saying whoa... whoa...

Duke is the Dutch Wonderland Mascot.

After riding on so many rides Joshua could not understand why this train did not move.

Josh and I sharing the love at breakfast.
Josh had a little crush on the princess.

Joshua did not want to take a family picture in the pretzel  but Jacob climbed right into it.

  The National Railroad Museum

Jacob looked so little peeking out of the giant old train window!

It was a great trip! Log plume, monorail, gondola, river boat, mini train rides, rides, funnel cake, rides, ice cream, water area, Jacob rides the big boy roller coaster, rides, Dutch food @ the Bird in Hand, Disney outlet store (for Lightning McQueen supplies), Choo Choo Barn, Sonic, Crackerbarrell, The National Rail Road Museum, Amish buggies galore, and yet it was still nice to come home.

Next trip planned in early August to Mystic Seaport and The Dinosaur Place.
